Forgotten Password

Question

I wrote down the password for a USP Flash Drive and need to reset it. I was able to access by using recovery key but still having problems with resetting password.

Hi,
You could try the following instruction to reset password of Bitlocker:

1. Click Start, and then select Control Panel. Control Panel opens in a new window.
2. Select System and Security, and then select BitLocker Encryption Options.
3. To change your PIN, select Manage Your PIN. Type your new PIN into both fields and select Reset PIN.
4. To change your password, select Manage Your Password. Enter your new password into both fields and select Reset Password.

Hello,

Did you received any error? If you're using USB drive to reset your password, did it appear when you click Reset password link?
