Hi,
I created a Sharepoint list of contacts, which I successfully connected to Outlook. All the contact appear in Outlook, which is the first step.
The second step is to have several group of contacts in Outlook, from this list, but filtered with different criteria, for exemple "area" or "function". I would like to send emails to different groups, which are connected and updated by the original Sharepoint list.
Is it possible ?
Thanks you,

    Hi @AlM-36277987 ,
As I know, from the perspective of the Outlook client, it is achievable to filtered Outlook contacts with different criteria and send emails to those filter results.

For example, I have three contacts like below. I would like to filtered with "Department" and send emails to A Department contacts, we just need to follow the steps below:

    1. Click View > View Settings > Filter > Advanced

    2. Select your criteria in the "Field"(for example, Department here), add the Condition and Value.
    3. Click OK and you will got the filter results like below.

    4. Then enter "Ctrl"+"A" and Click Home > Email to send emails to those filter results.

    Hi @AlM-36277987 ,

    Thanks for your update.

Have you already successfully synced those criteria created in SharePoint to you Outlook client? As I know, in Outlook desktop client, we could not directly sync those specific criteria created in SharePoint. I contacted colleagues of SharePoint Team, tested and got the same result.

If you have not synced sync those specific criteria to your Outlook yet, please understand that the columns in outlook are designed by default. It will not get columns from contact list. It just gets information from contact list in SharePoint to fill the corresponding columns in outlook. For more information, please check this similar thread.

If you successfully did that and want to filter them in Outlook now. As I know, Outlook also provide features for us to customize the filter with SQL on our own. Maybe you could try and see if it could work. Here is some examples I found, for your reference: Doing more with Outlook filter and SQL DASL syntax.

    Hope this can be helpful.
