Hi Dears
I created a query on a master file - meaning this file will be saved several times each time in a different name.
I need to use the file name each time in the power query.
Currently, I added a table that contains the file name as you can see in the attached picture
Is there a way to get the file name directly in the power query instead of adding another table and another query?

1/ How many parameters do you need to pass to your query?
2/ If more than 1, what method (code) do you use to get these parameter(s)? -

The Excel function
=cell("fileName")returns the full path, regardless of in which sheet column or cell it's in.
For my needs, I don't need the full path, but only the fileName. It's kind of security that the report fits the file name,
(So the user can't create a December report if the file name doesn't contain the word December).However, I have used this formula before (=cell("filename") ) to refer a query to the current file but without using Excel.CurrentWorkbook
It is indeed useful if you need to refer to the current workbook but you need to refer to an entire sheet, not to a table.I hope you can understand my broken English

2020-12-10T16:22:01.247+00:00 (I'm not English native and make a lot of mistakes). I think I better understand what you're doing (am also well aware of what the Excel CELL function does) and a single call (from a query) to get the filename should be enough (or I misunderstood something)
