Installing a custom app from the teams app keeps prompting me to install it

We utilized the vscode teamstoolkit to create an Spfx app. We built the app using react and deployed it to our users, but certain users keep getting prompted to reinstall the app when they turn the team app back on, even though they have installed the app. Most of these people have older Android phones (I don't know the exact version).

Of course, these people can still install and use the app, but it's very frustrating. Is anyone else getting the same error?
