Macros from .xlsm stored on sharepoints not working

Good morning,

Recently we have created a sharepoint on my team to store several databases and work on them simultaneously without having to send updated versions over and over again. One of this files contains a macro, and whenever we try to open it from the desktop app this warning message appears:

User's image

The thing is that I have all the security options neede enabled (I think):

User's image

And still the macros will not work. I'm the original owner of that file, and in the copy that I have saved in my computer the macros work perfectly. Is there something that I'm missing?

Thanks!

    Hi @Diego Fernández Fernández,

Thank you for posting in this community.

The change introduced by Microsoft automatically blocks all macros in workbooks downloaded from the internet. While it is frustrating to users, it is to ensure online safety, which is of critical importance.

First of all, maybe you can try adding your SharePoint Online site to Microsoft Office Trusted Locations.

Go to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trusted Locations.

Check Agree on trusted locations on my network and add your SharePoint Online site address.

    User's image

Secondly, you can also set it up for individual files.

    1. Close the workbook
    2. Navigate to the location where the workbook is saved
    3. Right-click on the file and select Properties from the menu Right-click properties
    4. Check the Unblock box, then click OK Unblock OK

    Hope this helps.
