How to open authenticator on a new phone

Hi. I'm trying to get my authenticator working on my new phone. Im not getting anywhere??please help me so i can get in on my apps.

Here are the steps to set up your authenticator on your new phone:

 

Backup on Old Phone:

Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your old phone.

Tap the three vertical dots at the top right and go to Settings.

In the Backup section, toggle on Cloud Backup (for Android) or iCloud Backup (for iPhone).

 

Install on New Phone:

Download and install the Microsoft Authenticator app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store on your new phone.

Open the app and sign in with the same Microsoft account you used for the backup.

 

Restore from Backup:

Tap on Restore from Backup and wait for the accounts to be recovered.

 

Revalidate Accounts:

You might need to revalidate some accounts. Follow the prompts to complete this step.

 

Remove from Old Phone:

Once everything is set up on your new phone, you can remove the accounts from your old phone.

 

If you encounter any issues, make sure you have backup codes for each account as a safety measure.
