I recently tried to install Minecraft on my windows 11 laptop; I go to the website, log in to my Microsoft account, then install the Minecraft Installer, run it, and then sign into the Microsoft store as usual.
But when it's trying to install the minecraft launcher, it always says "We are having trouble communicating with the Microsoft Store", and instructs me to continue the download with the Microsoft Store app. I go to the Microsoft Store app and search up "Minecraft Launcher", I click on the correct app then it just shows "12.10 Mb out of 12.10 Mb downloaded" (Or something very close to that) forever. Or it's stuck downloading at 1%.
I check that I am logged into the Xbox app, and I am, I go to check current update queue, and the same thing on the Xbox app shows; except this time it's stuck at "12.10Mb Unpacked out of 12.10 Mb" (Or something very close to that).

Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters

Find and run the "Windows Store Apps" troubleshooter

Settings > Apps > Installed apps

Find Microsoft Store, click the three dots, choose Advanced options

    Scroll down and click "Reset"

Press Win + R, type "wsreset.exe", and press Enter.

This will clear the Store cache.

    Hello,

You may consider following these steps to perform some basic checks:

    1. Check for Windows Updates:

    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
    • Click on Check for updates and install any available updates.

    2. Sign Out and Sign Back In

    • Sign out of your Microsoft account in the Microsoft Store.
    • Sign back in and try accessing the store again.

    3. Reset the Microsoft Store

    • If you are still unable to open the application or are receiving error messages, consider resetting the Microsoft Store:
      • On the Windows taskbar, select the Type Here To Search field.
      • Enter WSRESET.
      • In the Search Results area, select WSRESET.
      • After the reset is complete, the Microsoft Store application will open.
