Group Provisioning gets an error: 'EntityTypeNotSupported'

Hello,

I have added SAP Cloud Identity Services as Enterprise app and have configured the provisioning.
The problem I face is when I try to provision users via group assignment.
Then I get the error 'EntityTypeNotSupported'. If I use user assignment instead it works fine.

Does anyone know why? I have the required licenses - Governance.

Thank you!

@Hristo Patsev Thank you for reaching out to us, As I understand you are trying to provision users via group by setting up a application (SAP Cloud Identity Services) within Entra ID.

Where do you get this error message? could you help us with the screenshot at the time of issue?

If i assume correctly you are trying to do provision on demand, there you are entering group details where the user is member of? is that correct?

Because in the mapping section, we can only provision users to the application, not the group.

Would be more interested to know the steps which you are trying to repro the above mentioned error or lets connect offline to discuss more on the same.

    Here my contact details:

Please send me an email to 'AzCommunity@microsoft.com' with Sub - Attn: Givary and following details in the email body:

    Link to this thread/post

We can connect offline and discuss further on this.

Make sure the user is not blocked from sign in/disabled. It will only scan and provision active objects not disabled ones.
