Hello Team,

We cannot access SharePoint Online through the Safari Browser on a MacBook Pro using the Global Administrator Role. We tried clearing all time caches, cookies, and history, disabling/removing extensions, and reinstalling the browser with the latest compatible version. While the SharePoint Online is working on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge Browsers using the Global Administrator Role.

Please help us to resolve this issue. Thanks!sharepoint_online-access_denied-global_administrator

    Hi @Rajan Chaudhari ,

According to your feedback and the information provided previously, using Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge Browsers can work normally, so it is not a SharePoint setting issue, but a Safari Browser issue. It may be incompatibility or a browser setting issue. I suggest you try to go to the Safari Browser support center for support.

From the perspective of SharePoint, as I cannot install Safari Browser for testing, and I do not have sufficient permissions to view the SharePoint background logs, if this issue affects you greatly, I suggest you contact Microsoft directly for better support. They can check the behavior on your end remotely. For reference: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Docs, you can select online support or phone support to have a live chat with the support engineers.  This is the most efficient way for handling this thread as per the situation. I am sure that our Expert Engineers from that side can address this issue effectively and accurately.

Of course, if this issue does not affect you greatly, you can also use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as an alternative.

    Good day!

    Hi @Rajan Chaudhari ,

    Welcome to Q&A forum!

According to your description, you may have locked yourself out of SharePoint and OneDrive because of a location-based policy. As you have a global admin role, you can try follow these steps to unlock the tenant:

    1. Select Run Tests, which will populate the diagnostic in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Run Tests: Access Denied due to Network Location
    2. In the diagnostic form, select the SharePoint Online root URL and then select Run Tests. Screenshot of the diagnostic form in the Admin Center.
    3. If the test detects that you have a network-based location policy set and you are currently locked out of your tenant, you can choose to disable the policy. Screenshot of the test result, which shows you have a network-based location policy set.

    Hope this can help.
