Looking at finding how to remove disabled accounts from people search results. page

To remove disabled users from people search results, please refer to the following steps:

1.Go to Central Administration -> Manage service application -> User Profile Service Application -> Manage User Profiles:

2.Type account names of the disabled users in find profiles text box to find -> Delete:

3.Go to Configure Synchronization Connection -> Edit Synchronization Connection -> Check “Filer out disabled users”:

4.Go to Central Administration -> Manage service application -> Search Service Application -> Content Sources -> Start Full Crawl:

The disabled users will be removed from people search results successfully after completing the full crawl.

I did test this with 1 user but I guess if this is the only way to do it I can get the disabled users list.

As the disabled user list is over 39 thousand users we are unable to delete users in this manner. The filter out disabled users check box only works for users that have not been already imported.
