Hyper-V Windows 10 Pro 64bit Virtual Switch Manager Generic Failure

Question

Hi
After update w10 to 20H2 version my Hyper-V Switch Manager was broken.

Virtual Machine start and work ok but haven't net connection (no net adapter).
when i want to open Virtual Switch Manager i get Error "An error occurred while trying to get the list of virtual switches. An operation on this computer has failed: General failure".

I check Event Viewer:

HNS: Unable to create virtual machine switch. Error "0x8007023E", card ID = "36 string of numbers and letters"

Source: Host-Network-Services
ID: 1000

another error in event viewer:

Failed to initialize VMSwitch driver due to error (The operation has failed.)
The requested operation has failed.

Source: Hyper-V-VmSwitch
ID: 4

1. Windows and network adapter are full updates
2. Uninstall and install the Hyper-V role again - Doesnt work.
3. Reinstall network card - anything change.
4. Try powershell "New-VMSwitch -name ExternalSwitch -NetAdapterName Ethernet -AllowManagementOS $true" - cannot create virtual switch - error: 0x80041024
5. netcfg -d - not help

I have not checked this, and when i try to install need to choose client, service, protocol.
Adding client or protocol open blank choose list.

Hi,

If we are unable to install "Hyper V Extensible Virtual switch protocol" and check box, it seems we need to re-install the Hyper V role to fix the issue.

Before re-install the Hyper V role, please export the VMs, after re-installing, import the VMs.

Hi,

If we are going to un-install the Hyper V role, firstly, please export the VMs so that we can import them later.

To uninstall Hyper-V role, open Server manager, in "Manager", click "remove roles and features wizard, then unclick "Hyper V" and finish the wizard. After uninstalling, restart the Host, and then reinstall Hyper V and import the VMs, check if it could work:
