MS Support says that "outlook.office365.com is redirected to outlook.office.com".

Is there a way to make sure that "outlook.office365.com" is set to "URL redirect"?
I checked "outlook.office365.com" with chrome and redirect checker.
But "outlook.office365.com" was redirected to "outlook.office365.com/owa".
I want to check if it depends on the environment.

I already the URL "https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/enterprise/urls-and-ip-address-ranges?view=o365-worldwide".

Now, What I want to know now is how to make sure the redirect is set up.
In the redirect checker I can't confirm that the URL has a redirect set.
Is the confirmation method only on the server?

To my knowledge, redirect will not happen between outlook.office.com and outlook.office365.com. Both are different URL's which can be used to login to Exchange Online. Redirect will happen to Login.microsoftonline.com for authentication while accessing those URL's. You can use the below URLs for testing,

https://httpstatus.io/
https://www.redirect-checker.org/index.php

Thanks very much.
After all redirect does not occur.....
ms support says it's environment dependent not to redirect.
So I wanted certain information if the server really had redirects set up.

I had provided information on the original query between those 2 URLs and there might be other reasons/issues for the MS support to confirm the redirection.

Hi,

To my knowledge, both the URL's are for Exchange Online and either of them can be used to login to Exchange online mailbox. Once you enter the URL, it will first redirect to login.microsoftonline.com for the credentials and post authentication, it will be redirected again to outlook.office.com or outlook.office365.com. Please find below for more information,

You can also try using Fiddler tool to capture the HTTPS traffic and redirection. Make sure to install and run it on a test machine because certificates will be installed for decrypting the HTTPS traffic.
