How to resolve Sharepoint 2010 document library file rename showing a file “locked by another user” from a SharePoint library issue?

Hi all,
I have been uploaded the doument to the doument library in the sharepoint 2010 site. In my case sharepoint document library uploaded file again downloaded with the same name of file to uploading reaname file showing on file “locked by another user” in Document library. can you please provide proper solution to resolve the issue in sharepoint documentl library.

    Hi Narasimman, here are a few things I would like to confirm:

    1. Do you mean to rename the document right after downloading a copy or after the copy is uploaded?
    2. Did you open or do any change to the document after it has been uploaded?
    3. Is it Office file or other type of document?

    You can check as following for basic troubleshooting:

    1. Open the locked document from SharePoint library in client application and then close it without modification. Try renaming the document afterwards.
    2. Make sure the “WebClient” service is up and running on the local server.
    3. Rename the copy of the document instead on local drive and then upload the copy to see the result.
