These screenshots say it all. Our WSUS install thinks Windows 11 mult-session is Windows 10 and is advertising a bunch of Windows 10 specific 1809 feature updates. Any idea how we can fix this. WSUS is our Microsoft update solution.

WSUS server is running Windows Server 2019 Datacenter.

Make sure WSUS is fully updated.

Run the WSUS Server Cleanup Wizard to remove unnecessary updates and improve overall performance.

Review your Group Policy settings to ensure they're not forcing Windows 10 update behavior on Windows 11 machines.

    Under Group Policy navigate to:

Computer configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Windows Update for Business > Select the target feature update version.

Set the target version to your desired Windows 11 version.

    Hello,

There might be a few reasons why WSUS is incorrectly identifying Windows 11 Multisession as Windows 10. Here are some steps you can take to check the issue:

Update WSUS: Make sure you have the latest WSUS updates installed. Microsoft regularly releases updates which often contain important fixes and improvements. Your particular issue might be resolved in one of the latest patches.

Check Configuration and Group Policies: Make sure the configuration of your WSUS and group policies are set correctly. Incorrect settings can lead to undesired results like your current problem.

Review Client-Side Script: Consider running a client-side script on the affected machines to reset automatic updates.

    Best Regards,
