How to migrate from Azure Log Analytics to Azure Monitor Agent

Hi,

Currently I have Azure Log Analytics to monitor Azure Databricks account using KQL, but since Azure Log Analytics will be retired by end of Aug-24, then I need to migrate to Azure Monitor Agent.

I am trying to explore how to migrate but I confuse the steps how to do. I trial and error but I worry I do wrongly since this is in production environment.

Could anyone guide me how to migrate Azure Log Analytics to Azure Monitor Agent?

One of the key resources is the Azure Monitor Agent Migration Helper workbook. This workbook is a solution within Azure Monitor that helps you discover what to migrate and track progress as you move from the Log Analytics Agent to the Azure Monitor Agent. It provides a single pane of glass view to expedite and track the status of your agent migration journey. The helper supports multiple subscriptions and includes automatic migration recommendations based on your usage.

To use the Azure Monitor Agent Migration Helper workbook, navigate to the Azure Monitor page in the Azure portal, select Workbooks, and then scroll down to the AMA Migration Helper workbook. This will open the workbook on the Subscriptions Overview tab, where you can start managing your migration.
