Hello everyone,

I just received an alert about "Enable multifactor authentication for your tenant by 15 October 2024"

Is it going to activate it on all users ? whether they use or not use the Azure Portal, Entra ID or Intune portal ?
What about services accounts that use graph through PowerShell to modify EntraID users or groups ?

What will happen if I don't activate MFA on these account by that date ?

Microsoft Security | Microsoft Entra | Microsoft Entra ID
Microsoft Security | Intune | Other

All users who access the Azure portal only initially:

After that just specific Azure mgmt workloads

However, you should require MFA for all apps regardless.

If you do not enable MFA by then, it will be required for the Entra portal starting Oct 15th for all user accounts
