Hi,

I am unable to open office (2019) documents from SharePoint 2013. I have a slightly different symptom with Office 2016 same SharePoint file - I am able to open it, but cant save to the server.

    Hi, @Priti Ram ,

First have a check with other office document file types like .xlsx, .pptx. If all kind of office documents have the same issue, please have a check with the account used in Office, ensure it has proper permission in SharePoint sites.

And you can try to repair the office.

    Hi Jerry,

I have an update - the problem seems to have gone away as suddenly as it started. I would still like to figure out what happened.
tried the office repair yesterday, it didn't work.
Word came up with a challenge for the user credentials (same with excel) and the document opened but it would not allow mw to edit/ make any changes. I did not try PowerPoint.

Any other ideas if this happens again?

    Thank you,
    Priti
