Hi So I'm trying to free up space in my C drive. I go to the properties of my USER folder and it shows 77GB, however whenever I access the folder and check every single file in it, they all seem to be not more than 10 GB and I'm checking EVERYTHING. So why is there such a big difference? Are these hidden files I can't access or delete? Please help me with this issue...I'm not tech-savvy

    Hi,

It might be caused by not choosing all folders in Users folder. So try to show hidden folders through View\Hidden items in file explorer.
Also it could be caused if you have not access privilege for some of folders in Users. If you don't have access privilege, those folders will show as 0 kb when you choose properties by right click.

For free up disk, please use build-in Disk Cleanup tool (cleanmgr.exe utility) to clean up disk.

    Bests,

I had the same issue. The culprit was MobileSync folder in users\name\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer directory. This is where all the iPhone backups are stored. It’s hidden so you will turn on the show hidden files to get ti it.
