Failed to Run Task Sequence - Error 0x80070490 - After upgrading to SCCM 2006

Hi Guys,
We recently upgraded SCCM 1902 to 2006. Now, task sequence is failing. I have attached error message and log.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

The error code 0x80070490 means "Element not found". The error code 0x80004005 is a general error which means something is wrong with SCCM.

To get target support,could we know which steps the task sequence failed?

Hi Fiona,
Thanks for your response.

Task Sequence fails on very first step. We boot computers to build, they start and they failed.

It was working fine until we upgraded to SCCM 2006.

Thank you for the quickly response.

Maybe we need to expand the scope of log checking for limits, have we seen more on our log?

As we mentioned ,we were working fine until upgraded. For this reason, I will try the best to deliver the information to the product team to see if they have some additional comments, but not guaranteed. once there is a reply, i will get back to you at the first time. thank you for your kind understanding.
