Symbol Font Vertical Text Box issue

Hi,

I'm having trouble with the display of Symbol fonts in Word 365, Windows 10. When placed in a text box and oriented vertically, the character spacing is too large.

Thanks both for your replies. Is there a way to fix this without adjusting spacing? I need to ensure documents containing Symbol fonts are displayed consistently between Word 365 and 2010. Does anyone know the root cause of the spacing issue?

As JohnKorchok said, you could select the text, in Home>Font, click the icon in the lower right corner then click Advanced, select Condensed for Spacing and set the pt you would like to.

Besides, you could set this as default in the lower left corner for frequent use.
