Please check your SQL server 2019 setup log to find more related information about this issue. And share us the information to get better help. Check the folder that located at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\150\Setup Bootstrap\Log\20201210_200225. Please refer to View and Read SQL Server Setup Log Files.
> Exit code:-2068052293 error description: there is a problem with this windows installer package. A DLL required for this installation to complete could not be run.
According to your error message, based on my search, it can occur if you have no permission on the C:\Users\ "username" \AppData\Local\Temp folder. To troubleshoot this issue, you can grant yourself or everyone full control permission via the following steps.
- Going to Properties > Security on the C:\Users\ "username" \AppData\Local\Temp.
- Giving “Everyone” the Full control permission.
- Reinstall SQL Server again.
In addition, please make sure that the Windows Installer service is running. Download SQL server 2019 from this link again, Run the setup as administrator.
