Moving Chrome Data off of user Home Folder

I am trying to find a way to get the chrome user data out of the user home drive. We just started using azure file sync on the home drive and these temporary files are breaking azure file sync.

Does this seem like it would work?

Changing the variable in the GPO from H:\chrome to \<server_name>\chrome\${user_name} the file share will just exist on the server that hosts our home drive but not be included in the folder that makes up the H:\ for the users.

Thoughts?

So this morning I was able to set up a test GPO and tried these settings out on a Small Group of users.

    In Short it worked great.

we are going to begin a phased implementation so my help desk doesn't get overwhelmed with people complaining about losing their Bookmarks.

I also found that it is pretty easy to move the data. Its as simple as coping it to the new location you are moving the Chrome user Data to. The user will just need to close chrome while you are moving the data.
