You could refer to Andrej Prijmak’s blog about SCCM deploy Microsoft Teams client. He lists all the details and screenshots of the steps.
Besides, the .msi file is available now, it recommends you use the MSI-based installer for Teams.

I can install the .MSI, bus that will only place a setup file in the program files folder.... I'm looking for an install of the application, but nothing happens on the laptop.
@Sven van der Vecht
The Teams MSI will place an installer in Program Files. Whenever a user signs into a new Windows User Profile, the installer will be launched and a copy of the Teams app will be installed in that user's AppData folder. If a user already has the Teams app installed in the AppData folder, the MSI installer will skip the process for that user.
And what if the user doesn't have a NEW Windows profile, but is using that laptop for some time? Or will it install when Teams isn't installed for that user yet?
I've got 600 laptops to deploy Teams to and all of them are in use for quiet some time. Non of the users have a new profile.
@Sven van der Vecht ,
There is a script for installing Microsoft Teams on client PCs. You could push this script through Intune, or System center configuration Manager or GPO.

The link for the script is not relevant! Could you please provide the actual link for the Uninstall "script"?
