When using a pivot table filter, How can I eliminate time from my date filter?

I am trying to present my data in a pivot table, for which I have added a filter option for the dates, so that I can select specifically which dates to display in the Pivot table.

my issue is that the time is also apart of the dates in the filter, even though I have removed it from anywhere else. How can I remove the times from my filter list?

    @Richard Kopnyicky

    Could you tell me what kind of data source did you use and how did you create the connection?

    Please open the data source, in Data, click From Table/Range.

    Then give a screenshot like below.

    You could set the format in Power Query Editor. Click the icon in the upper left corner then click Date.

    After setting the formatting, click Close & Load To…, in the Import Data box, select PivotTable Report and then click OK.

    Then you will see the times removed.
