How is the dynamic threshold calculated for CPU monitoring on azure VMS? What is the logic behind it?

    Yes, your understanding is correct. The same is illustrated in the same document Interpreting Dynamic Threshold charts which has details on how the threshold are set and the alerts are fired and resolved.

    Does that mean if my average CPU usage is around 10 % - 12%, using dynamic threshold, the threshold will be calculated around 10 -12 % right? and alerts will be thrown at this threshold only
