SharePoint 2019 Modern team Site Quick Launch Navigation

Question

I need to be able to design a custom quick launch in a Modern Team site. It needs to be able to create 'custom group headings'. Can anyone direct me to articles that specifically address this issue? Thanks in advance.

We could create new headings in Site Settings for the site as shown below:

If you want to further customize the quick launch navigation, it is recommended to use the SPFx extension, please refer to following examples:
