Multiple entries in MS Authenticator for same username from different machines

I have 2 different machines with similar usernames with 2FA logins. I am using "Other Accounts (Google, Facebook, etc). I used QR code to create an entry for the first user in MS Authenticator which worked fine. But when I used QR code to create entry for the second user, it replaced the first user when it should not have.

I tried the same workflow with Google Auth, Salesforce Auth and Authy. All of them created separate entries for the second user (as the hostname:user pairs were different for both users)

I am having the same issue.

My e-mail address is used to sign in to multiple different products/services that are protected by 2FA. When adding the first, it works fine, but when adding the 2nd one, it overwrites the one already added.

Hello, to work around this please manually type in the account name and secret key for the second and sub-sequent accounts rather than scanning the QR code, and make sure the each account name is different.

How do you get the to work account to work after the second one was added, hence overwriting the first?? That is my issue

How do you get the first account to work after the second one was added, hence overwriting the first. Now when I try to get a verification code for the first account, is says it says verification code entered is not valid. Both have the same email.

Thank you so much! This worked for me.

At first I struggled. After you click the plus (+) sign to add an account, instead of clicking 'add work or personal account' (which I was doing all day), I selected 'other' then entered the QR generated code manually along with the account name and solved my problem.
