Hello Team,
Is it possible to create Exchange(On-Prem) mailboxes directly from AD. Maybe while creating new Users itself.
Please advise.

    Hi,

    You need to use Exchange management tools like Exchange Admin Center and Exchange management shell to create mailboxes and it wouldn't be possible to create mailbox from Active directory.

    While using EAC or EMS, you can create new mailboxes for existing AD accounts or create new AD accounts by specifying the organization unit.

    @Rock Steps

    There only exist two ways to create mailbox in Exchange 2016:

    1. Create mailbox first, it will create the related AD account automatically.
      In EAC, this action is "New mailbox with new user":

      In EMS, this action is "New-Mailbox"
    2. Create AD account first, then enable mailbox function for this account from Exchange side manually.
      In EAC, this action is "New mailbox with existing user":

      In EMS, this action is "Enable-Mailbox"
