Windows Server 2016 - CHKDSK error on OS partition - "Snapshot was deleted. A snapshot error occurred while scanning this drive. CHKDSK cannot continue" How to fix this issue? This is a standalone server. No iSCSI and no hyper-v. Running from safe mode causes same error. Otherwise the server is running fine, but cant run chkdsk in command prompt nor in c: properties in file explorer. It fails.

Hi,
It could be a bad drive.
I would suggest you backup your files from it, then try deleting the existing partition, create a new one, and see if that allows it to work normally.
Hope above information can help you.
