Microsoft authenticator applicaiton for windows 10 OS

Hello,

Did anyone know if a windows 10 version of the Microsoft Authenticator application is available? Currently, the app is only for ios and android platforms. Thank you

Quite ironic that Microsoft systems themselves can't use the Authenticator tool created by Microsoft. Surface Pro is a personal device and you should be able to install this important app.

OMG. just tried this on phone, moved all passwords to Microsoft but NOW you are saying i have to type in 26 correctors passwords manually!!!!? this is just SO dumb, back to my old password manager, that works on ALL devices. Even win 11 is a disaster UI is just Grrrrreeeee.

No you can sign into edge and your passwords will sync.

Thank you for your post! The Microsoft authenticator app is only available for IOS and Android operating systems, and isn't available for Windows10 OS as of right now.

Download and install the app

You can download the App on the Microsoft Store, but it's only available on Mobile Devices, and has a specific minimum requirement for Windows10 Mobile version or Windows8 Mobile. However, the Authenticator on all Windows Mobile operating systems will not be supported after Feb 28, 2020. Which means users will not be eligible for receiving any new updates to the app post the aforementioned date

If you'd like this app to be available on Windows10 OS, please feel free to leverage our User Voice forums so our developers can look into implementing this feature.

The User Voice forums link to a Microsoft Azure site, which I cannot comment on as I don't have a business account. Is there another way to add my vote for Microsoft Authenticator to have a Win10 Desktop app available?

you can use the Microsoft Authenticator autofill feature in the desktop versions of Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome via an extension. In Chrome or Edge, go to the Chrome web store link for Microsoft AutoFill and add the extension to the browser.

This does not help the OP. Microsoft Autofill only fills in passwords. It does not seem to do the same thing as the authenticator app.
