Microsoft SQL su Sitema Operativo Windows 11 con Processore SNAP DRAGON X-ELITE ARM

Question

Ho acquistato un Portatile con sitema operativo Windows 11 Pro e con processore SNAP-DRAGON X-ELITE(ARM) ma con mia sorpresa non sono riuscito ad installare Ms SQL 2022 ne nella versione EXPRESS e neanche in quella COMMUNITY essendo uno sviluppatore. Come è possibile ???

SQL Server non supporte il achitecturo di ARM. Ma existe un x86 emulatore Prism, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/arm/apps-on-arm-x86-emulation, e con Prism è possible di installar SQL Server on ARM. Come non ho una macchina con ARM, no ho provato usar Prism mio stesso.

SQL Server does not support the ARM architecture. But there exists an x86 emulator, Prism, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/arm/apps-on-arm-x86-emulation, and with Prism it is possible to install SQL Server on ARM. Since I don't have any machine with ARM myself, I never tried Prism myself.

Based on your instructions, I updated Windows 11 to the 24h2 version and tried again to install the Ms SQL 2022 Developer version. The result has not changed, the part relating to the DATABASE ENGINE is not installed and an error is generated.
