AD User & Computer on w10-V20H2

Question

Dears,

I am trying to install Active Directory User & Computers on my Windows 10, Education, Version 20H2, but it does not install by either ways (Installing package & Windows Feature).

I am wondering is it compatible with my version?

Thank you so much your response is very helpful and much appreciated. but according to the reference you have sent to me, my device joined to the domain and receives update from WSUS. I wonder to know, would it make any fault from getting update?

In current versions of Windows, ADUC is part of an administrative suite of tools called Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT).

Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 10 can be installed ONLY on computers that are running the full release of Windows 10 Professional, Windows 10 Enterprise, or Windows 10 Education. Remote Server Administration Tools cannot be installed on Windows RT, computers with an Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) architecture, or other system-on-chip devices.

So it is compatible with Windows 10 Education. Since we could not install it, is there any error message? Did we receive a “This update does not qualify for your computer.” message when you tried to install it?

Dear Hannah Xiong,

Thank you for your quick response. Yes there is an error message says (Windows Update Standalone Installer) Error code: 0x8024001d. I don't know where is the problem. My OS is up to dated as well.

What do you mean by full release of Windows? My OS is licensed and activated successfully.

Normally Windows should be updated to the latest version.

Based on the research, the error code 0x80240001d means that an update contains invalid metadata.

I tried to install RSAT on Windows 10 Enterprise version 1909, and it could be successfully installed. As for our case, I have researched and found out that others also had the similar issue. Once updated to version 2004, the RSAT could not be installed.
