Why is my app still in the installed state on the Microsoft Store?

About a week ago, I updated my app and it was successfully reviewed by Microsoft. However, the app on my computer is version 1.0.0 (I downloaded it directly from the app download link, not from the Microsoft Store), but the app status on the Microsoft Store is still installed

If I uninstall my app on my computer and reinstall in Microsoft Store it will be version 1.0.1

I don't know if I did something wrong, or do I have to download the app directly from the Microsoft Store to be able to automatically update the app (or status app will be update)?

    Hi,

If I read the post correctly, the direct link provides version 1.0.0 and the Microsoft Store provides version 1.0.1, when the app is installed as version 1.0.0 (from the direct link), the Microsoft Store probes the app as "installed". It seems the Microsoft Store only detects the app, not caring about the version.

The expected behavior is the Microsoft Store showing "not installed" when version 1.0.0 is installed, right? Is this the problem?

    Regards,

    Alex
