Plot Area color and Selected Item color

I'm working with LineSeries charts and I need to change the background color of the plot area. I'm also trying to change the color of the selected item without success. As it's possible to see in the image, the selected item is red (same item for the three lines series - iteration 14) but it's not visible enough the difference.
Can you give me any help with that?

If your Plot Area is from Telerik, you need to contact the Telerik team. If it is not from Telerik, please give more details about your LineSeries, I need to know how do you create your LineSeries.

Did you meet any error in your code? Could you provice all the code shown in the picture? It allows me to test and analyze more effectively.
