i got an email stating: Upgrade to the latest version of Microsoft Entra Connect Sync and Entra Connect Health by 23 September 2024

when i check the version of our Connect is stated: 2.3.20.0

when going to the download site of Microsoft. i can only download 2.3.20.0

where am i able to download newer versions so i can upgrade entra connect?

Indeed the latest version is: 2.3.20.0. That email is usually sent to Entra Connect users, so you should not be in default. However, do confirm if you have any servers in staging or sync to your tenant as well. Apart from this, there is no pending action from you.

Thanks for you fast answer. i am still a little confused.

you say 2.3.20.0 is the latest versions. but when i check the Microsoft releases site, it stated below.

2.3.20.0 TBD (to be Discontinued?)

so i should be getting 2.3.8.0?

my Entra Connect is on autoupgrade: Enabled. with no error what so ever. but also no information in the event viewer that is ever succesfully upgraded.

any idea?

As akinbade abiola mentioned, version 2.3.20.0 is the latest version of Microsoft Entra Connect, which was released on 7/15/2024.

When referring to the document on Retiring Microsoft Entra Connect 2.x versions, you'll see that the table shows "TBD" for the "End of support date" for version 2.3.20.0. "TBD" stands for "to be decided," meaning that the end of support date for version 2.3.20.0 has not yet been determined. Since this is the latest version of Microsoft Entra Connect, the end of support date is not expected to be soon. The date will be announced once a new version is released.
