No background on input text fields only on physical device

Hi,

I recently made some updates to the app and the new version the text fields on static forms no longer have a background. However this is only noticeable on a physical device.
It should look like this, as it does on a emulator and the designer

however when on the physical device it looks like this

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Are you developing Xamarin.Forms or Xamarin.iOS ?
If Forms , what's the version of package Xamarin.Forms ?

Not forms just Xamarin.iOS.

I have found I can "resolve" this issue by setting the background field to white again. This was mostly annoying however as it only went wrong on a physical device.

Hi, Mochyn-4809. Try to test the code on another physical device to check if the issue is caused by the device.
