Event log monitoring not working on 2016 domain controllers

I'm trying to monitor for some entries in event logs on domain controllers. All are running Windows Server 2016. I've created alert generating rules in SCOM and enabled for the DC's only but I am not getting any alerts. I've tried different targets.. Windows Server, Windows Server Operating System but none work. On other 2016 servers this works fine.
Is there something different I need to do to get this to work on domain controllers. Other monitoring seems to be fine on the DC's. It's just event log monitoring that does not seem to be working. Agent is running as Local System.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

    Hi

We did a test in our lab, and we got the alerts.
