Hi ,

I am facing issues after migrating Macros to SharePoint Online from Network Share Drives. Can anybody suggest about below

  1. Strategy for Migrating Macros to SharePoint Online from Network Share Drives
  2. Fixing the Macros in destination environment , SharePoint Online

The main issue I am facing is after migrating to SharePoint Online the reference paths are all changed. Is there any way e.g. PowerShell script by which we can find what are the files or path one Macro is referencing.

Got a reply from Jazlyn Xu MSFT on this Page https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_sharepoint-mso_win10-mso_o365b/urgent-excel-macrosxlsm-are-not-functioning/95c68dfe-320c-4af6-b5d9-c52f6b5044fd?messageId=8fe19b62-9e16-4f65-9a4a-def64e3a1a97

Need to verify the same

Thanks And Regards

Aritro

    Hi, @MukherjeeAritro-4746 ,

Per my knowledge, we are not able to use PowerShell to modify the macro saved with the excel file. As your problem is the file path change, you will be needed to modify the macro, replacing the old path to new one manually, just like Jazlyn said.
