Storage Spaces does not show "Change" option

After my Storage pool filled up, I was able to successfully add new drives, but the new "pool capacity" which does reflect in "Storage Spaces" (38.1TB) does not reflect in Windows Explorer (still showing 14.5TB).

After searching online, I learned that this is likely because Storage Spaces does not automatically expand the pool capacity from what was originally specified when created (even though it does display that capacity in the tool). Windows apparently expects you to add the drive to the pool, then click the "Change" button for the storage space to enter a new pool size.

Unfortunately, Storage Spaces does not show the "Change" button, and I wasn't able to find any possible explanation online.

    Hi,

It seems the storage space haven't format, please try to format the Storage space, check if the "Change" option appears about format.

In my test, it has "change" option:

Hi, the Storage Space originally had two drives that were formatted and full, and then I was able to add two more to the array after they were already formatted as simple volumes. While adding the two new drives, I had checked the box to "Optimize drive usage to spread existing data across all drive", and Windows started to copy files in the background, showing the new drives were 0.09% full before I cancelled that operation, because I realized the new capacity wasn't visible from Windows Explorer.

I wouldn't want to format the Storage Space now, because I would lose the files on the original two drives.
