Is the Microsoft Entra ID Free plan for life?

I want to link my Azure DevOps organization with Microsoft Entra ID but I would like to know if the free Microsoft Entra ID plan is for life or on the contrary it has expiration in 30 days, I am also not clear about the benefits, this includes MFA or you have to have a P1 subscription to have the MFA service ?

as far as I know there is no time limit on Microsoft Entra ID Free edition.

The security defaults for MFA don't need a license in a Microsoft Entra ID Free edition:

All tenants are entitled to basic multifactor authentication features via Security Defaults.
