Events with 144 code indicate a hardware problem either with the GPU or USB devices. What devices are connected to the PC at the failure time? It is possible that the PSU might be failing too.
Just my fans, usual peripheral devices (mouse, keyboard, headphone, mic, stream deck etc.). I have NVIDIA driviers up to date. Could possibly be a PSU issue as I previously had a shut down issue in idle which I fixed by disabling some c-state thing (dont remember too well) in the bios
Thanks. It can definitely be PSU. There is sadly no way to check PSU unless you can see the voltage values of +3, +7 and +12 in BIOS. That too can be false negative. Could you start by removing Mic and Stream deck?
What should I be looking for when I remove them?
Ive seen online that 144 livekernelevent is typically to do with graphics drivers, I think in armoury crate I installed amd graphics drivers (for my cpu 7800x3d integrated graphics) and I have the latest nvidia driver graphics for a 4060. Could this cause any conflicts?/is it worth uninstalling these and reinstalling just the nvidia drivers, although im not too sure how to do this.
side note too: frequently when I restart my computer, it shuts down then stays on orange motherboard light. So I have to manual switch the computer off, then when I power it on again it enters safe mode then I exit and it boots normally. Not sure if this could signify a PSU error or maybe a faulty driver?
shutting down and powering on is never and issue just restarting weirdly
Usually this issue happens when my pc is idle/ on boot, never really when my pc has been on for a long period of time
Thanks Callum. Honestly, sounds like a bad PSU.
It should be under warranty ( Corsair 750e psu) as I got it less than a year ago. Do u think I’d be able to just simply ask for a replacement/ how would I prove it’s defective to them? Really appreciate the help and honesty 😂

You can try the following steps to troubleshoot the problem:
Run the command prompt (administrator), enter the following command and press Enter:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
sfc /scannow
Wait for the scan to complete and restart the computer.
Press the Windows + R key, type mdsched.exe, and press Enter.

I've ran the first 3 steps with no issues, I use armoury crate, have got all my motherboard drivers up to date and nvidia graphics drivers. Not really sure where to start as im sure all my drivers are up to date.
