MFA Registration Issue

We are registering multi-factor authentication for a business user in Microsoft 365.

We need to manually add the TOTP code to Bitwarden as we can't scan the QR code. After we enter the TOTP code in the Bitwarden entry we click Next on the MFA registration screen and the next button spins loading for awhile until an error message is received:

Authenticator registration has timed out. Please choose "Next" to try again.

Here is the latest logged event in the Multifactor authentication | Diagnose and solve problems page in Azure:

 Error Code         50072

Message             Due to a configuration change made by your administrator, or because you moved to a new location, you must enroll in multi-factor authentication to access '{identifier}'.

Remediation    The user was presented options to provide contact options so that they can do MFA.

We have tried to register the user in Incognito mode in both Chrome and Edge and from different locations using a different public IP.

Appreciate any insights anybody can offer to resolve the issue.

Thank you.

Issue: Getting error while registering multi-factor authentication for a business user in Microsoft 365.

Solution: Issue was resolved by choosing to use a different authenticator app instead of Authenticator app which was used earlier.
