Hi,

I bought Microsoft Office Professional plus 2019, in 2019, and installed on my computer.

I have now purchased a new computer due to my previous computer crashing beyond repair.

I have tried to install Microsoft office on my new computer however as I bought I through a website and not the Microsoft Office store i think it is having issues finding the code!,

When trying the start my subscription and entering the product key, a message comes up the says service unavailable we are having technical issues try again later.

Could you offer any advise, please?

Thanks,

    Hi,

Did you uninstall the Office 2019 from the old PC?

If not I suggest you download the tool and uninstall the Office from old PC first:

Then activate the Office 2019 in new PC again.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick response,

To give you more of an understanding, I am only able to gain access to my previous computer by loading the DOS prompt in safe mode, as the password doesn't work any more, and I am unable to move around the drives on the computer to find any files without using Notepad.

After talking to Intel and Microsoft I tried and failed to access information about the computer to find out what driver could be at fault and they said they could not help me any further.

To uninstall Microsoft office would be impossible as I can't run any programs on the computer and this is the reason for purchasing a new computer. I will be trying to access the hard drive with a docking station at a later date to try and retrieve the lost files.

Is there another way I can install office on my new computer without uninstalling it as you suggest ?

    Thanks again,
