Did this happen on your first attempt SQL Server? Or did you make multiple attempts before coming here? And maybe you did some attempts to cleanup in between? (Certainly quite natural do to so!)
I ask, because my feeling is that an error like this one is the result of such a process, masking the original error. Once you have confirmed or denied, we can continue with ideas on how to deal with this.
Please double check the command line arguments you are using.

Cosmog, when was the last time you specified command-line arguments to the Setup wizard? I don't think I've ever done it - or that it is even possible.
