Unable to Update Azure Role for a Subscription although i have Owner and User Access Admin rights at that Subscription, It gives error The requestor XXX does not have permissions for this request. Please use $filter=asTarget() to filter on the requestor's assignments.

I understand that you are trying to update the azure role for a subscription using REST API but getting error "The requestor XXX does not have permissions for this request. Please use $filter=asTarget() to filter on the requestor's assignments".

Please verify the permissions associated with your subscription and also confirm whether the same subscription is trying to update the Azure role and make sure to use $filter=asTarget() filter to the query.
