Alerts on SharePoint List custom view

I have a SharePoint list with multiple columns, but I only want to get alerts when anything changes in either of two of those columns. I created a custom view (called "Notifications") with just those columns visible and made sure that one was a filtered column. It is a choices column ("In" or "Out") and I have it filtered to hide "Out" entries. When I set up an alert I am able to tick the option to only see changes in my "Notifications" list view. But when I test it I find that I still get alerts for changes on other columns that are not visible in my "Notifications" list view.

Any ideas where I am going wrong? I understand I should be able to limit the alerts to just changes in my two chosen columns.

Thanks

    Hello @Tom Phelan ,

You could create the MS Flow to achieve your plan.

    Please following steps:

1.Create two sets of related columns in the SharePoint List(total 4 List columns).

2.Then create a custom view ("Notifications") and filter based on "Out" entries

3.Under the Notifications view, create a Automated cloud flow
