My company uses Intune in a Hybrid Environment and we are trying to setup AutoPilot and deploy machines so that they sync with Active Directory and are trusted with either their Azure AD credentials or their AD credentials, plus have the computer name that is associated in AD be able to sync with Azure AD the ESP process during initialization, or after the fact and change it after the computer is finished and is ready to be deployed. As the computer is in Azure AD at this point, I am unable to change the computer name at all from Control Panel because it sees that the computer is already connected to Azure AD, if I were to change the computer name in the Office 365 Admin Center would this allow the name to be changed in both Azure and Active Directory so that the computer is both trusted and either user name would work? In AD they connect with First Initial Last Name, and in Azure AD they connect with First Initial Last ******@companyname.com

Hello, renaming computers in Hybrid environment is not supported by Intune. You will have to remove the device from Hybrid Azure AD join, rename it and join it again.
