How can I get my Authenticator app to provide a code so I can sign in to my workday account for work on my phone?

At first with using the Authenticator app for work to access my email and workday account, it worked fine. It provided me a notification that gave me a number to enter in on either app and allowed me to login. However, now I receive no notification and my workday app is asking for a code from the Authenticator app but I have no code showing up.
