I was able to display a restart notification by using Group Policy to specify "Specify deadlines for automatic updates and restarts" in Windows Update, but the Japanese in this notification is too strange, so I would like to customize it, and I would like to know how to do this.

User's image

In particular, the first message, "Your organization must be restarted," is hard to understand.

The next message, "2024/09/06 must be install the important updates" is also embarrassing in Japanese.

It's embarrassing to have such a notification displayed on users' PCs, so I'd like to know how to customize it.

    Hello.

Unfortunately, the notification text for Windows Update is usually fixed and is automatically generated by the operating system based on the user's language settings. This means that you usually can't directly modify the notification text for these presets.

If you do need to customize the notification message, then you may need to find a third-party tool or write a custom script to handle the restart notification after the update. However, that this is outside the scope of standard Windows Update functionality.

    Best Regards,
