Hi,

Logged on this morning and the Comments pane is broken for word. Have rebooted and checked for office 365 updates. On all documents the comment pane stalls (see photo). For documents without comments it will highlight text if I click it enough and say a comment is currently open, but it doesn't show up as a bubble or in the comments list. On document that already have comments, they are not showing and will not populate the comments list. Any ideas what is causing this?

Thank you,

Andrew

    Hi @Lowell, Andrew

Please click File > Account, check the Office version number under the "Product Information".

Then please run Word in Safe Mode to have a check. The Safe Mode will help us troubleshoot the add-ins.

    • Press and hold on Ctrl key, click or double-click Word icon, until it asks if you want to start it in safe mode, then please release Ctrl key and click "Yes".

If this issue still persists in Safe Mode, I suggest you perform an Online Repair for Office from Control Panel.
